You may be following any of it thinking that it’s healthy BUT it’s not. These few habits you may think is great way to lose weight but it can even worsen your condition and symptoms of PCOD/PCOS. Following are the habits that girls should avoid if suffering from PCOD.

  1. EATING TOO MUCH OF FRUITS

This is very common mistake we mostly do while losing weight in PCOD. Undoubtedly fruits are great source of fibre and micro nutrients BUT you need to understand your body first.Fruits are high in sugar so better avoid taking lot of fruits in one go. You don’t have to increase your sugar as excess sugar can make you sick.

SO YOU CAN NOT EAT FRUITS ? No , you can enjoy fruits but in moderation.

Better avoid FRUIT JUICE as sugar levels in fruit juice causes significant spike in blood sugar levels where as fruits contain fibre which needs to be broken down by the body in order to use fructose for energy. This means that body takes more time to digest fruits.

  1. STAYING AWAY FROM FATTENING FOODS

Yes, even completely avoiding fattening food can can hinder weight loss process . Introduce food quality fat in your diet. Totally avoiding fat can have following side effects:

  2. Mood swings

  3. Binge eating

Drink enough water to lose weight and to stay healthy but if you want to lose weight fast then better include detox drinks in your diet. Following detox drinks can be included in your diet:

  3. Fenugreek tea

  4. Lemon in lukewarm water etc

  5. NOT TAKING ENOUGH FIBRE IN DIET
