HARMFUL EFFECTS OF EATING TOO SUGAR

Sugar should be consumed in a limited quantity as too much of anything harms in their own way.

Sugar benefits our body in certain way as it helps in providing instant energy to the body. It is also said that sugar has beneficial effects on our brain.

Whenever you consume something new, the tongue sends signals to the brain. The gut and the brain of a person works simultaneously to release dopamine in the blood and dopamine helps you make feel good. So, when we eat sugar the brain has strong dopamine response which makes the body crave for more and more sugar.

The effects of sugar on our body will only be positive if it’s consumed in a limited quantity.

If sugar is consumed in large quantities (more than required) then it will have negative effects on our body and will harm our body.

Sugar has its own pros and cons and it effects person to person. A person consuming an enormous amount of sugar can result in diabetes.

Here are some of the harmful effects of eating too sugar:

SUGAR CAN SUPPRESS THE IMMUNE SYSTEM:

  1. Too much sugar reduces the body’s ability to deflect diseases.

  2. Avoid foods and beverages which are high in sugar or which contains refined carbohydrates.

SUGAR CAN WEAKEN EYESIGHT:

  1. The high blood sugar levels in our body causes the lens of the eyes to swell up, which affects the ability to see.

  2. To make your eyesight error-free you must get your sugar levels back to the appropriate level.

SUGAR CAN CAUSE ARTHRITIS:

  1. The high quantities of sugar in your diet results in inflammation.

  2. This inflammation results in deteriorating your bones causing arthritis and can happen at any age.

SUGAR CONTRIBUTES TO OBESITY:

  1. The sugar which is naturally present in fruits does not affect or harm our body but the sugar which is added harms our body.

  2. The added sugar increases your body fat and besides that it significantly increases the risk of chronic diseases.

SUGAR CAN CAUSE PREMATURE AGING:

  1. Excess processed sugar in your diet can promote wrinkles, dark circles, dehydrates the skin which leads to premature aging.

  2. These sign makes the body sulk and it affects physically.

SUGAR CAN CAUSE DEPRESSION:

  1. When one is feeling low and they have sugar which helps them feel euphoric, then the person relies on sugary foods to feel happy, which infact promotes depression.

  2. Eating too much sugar may increase your risk for mood disorders.
